Milan to Bari or Brindisi
 

Any opinions here in Easy Jet? They fly from MXP but Alitalia, Ryanair fly from LIN. I think I would rather from MXP. Thanks

Wondering the same thing actually (about MXP-BDS), though I think I'd prefer LIN if it's cheaper

Did MDS-MXP on U2 December 2012. Typical Easyjet flight, quick, cheap and economical. I generally pay for early boarding/exit row and that helps in managing the race to the seats/overheads as well as a more comfortable seat.

In PMO last year, the early boarding was a godsend as the queue assembled VERY early and, while we got the before boarding, we were behind a lot of people. The person at the counter recognized us from luggage check-in and knew we had early boarding so he waived us to the front of the line and made sure we got on the part of the bus that exited first to access the plane.

Only thing to note is that they are in T2 at MXP so if you are connecting to or coming from another flight or train, factor in the time and inconvenience of the shuttle bus to T1/trains.

If time is of the essence LIN is much closer to the city center and they're pretty efficient (by Italian standards). I may catch some flack for this but I'd' take AZ over low-cost regional carriers. There domestic service is not that bad people!

The guys in the AZ forum tell me they prefer LIN to MXP. I've not flown out of either one, so no opinion here.

LIN is 15 to 20 minutes from the city center while MXP is 45 minutes to an hour (depending on traffic etc.; the cab to LIN is under 20 Euros and MXP is a fixed 90 I think).
I regularly fly from both (short haul from LIN, to JFK from MXP) and both are ok airports although admittedly I have not spent much time in the low cost terminal at MXP. If you are staying in Milan LIN is much easier.
