Hello!
My in-laws will be in Italy for my father-in-law's 80th. They have some fantastic plans for Tuscany (cooking school, vineyards, etc.) but will also have five days in Florence.

As a gift, I'm looking to find a special/great experience in the city. (Seeking travelers' referrals because we want to ensure high quality as opposed to just picking something off the internet.)

Anything goes from performing arts tickets (opera, ballet, classical music)
to a fantastic art lovers tour, a knock out special resto, or some other memorable experience, etc. (fyi - FIL is an excellent chef and painter, and also music lover.)

The two are traveling in mid-September, and are an active couple.

Would be super grateful for any recs. Can spend up to $800.
