Italian Sim to Lend?
 

Will be heading to Italy for a week beginning of April and am looking for an already active Italian SIM card (Wind or TIM preferably) for my iphone 3GS.

If you have gone over recently and have one that I can use I will be happy to send it back to you with ~$10 on it keeping it active for another 12 months.

You can get a new sim at Wind or TIM for just 10e including 5e of talk time. No monthly fee. Free incoming calls from anywhere including the US.

Thanks fmkgb. Getting a new SIM upon arrival will be my 2nd option, but I like the thought of having an already active SIM with a number I know and can give out before I leave. Plus I have heard activation after purchasing the SIM in Italy can take from a few hours to a day.

And I figured this would work out well for another FT that would like to keep their Italian SIM and phone # active for their next trip.
