I'm staying there tonight too.... Maybe we run into each other, I will keep looking for a flyertalk bag tag...

I have booked a King Club Room (on corporate rate about 40€ cheaper) and my booking has not changed yet. Let's see what happens on arrival, especially as it's my birthday

I think this is the 1st time 3 FT RAs are bumping with eachother !
Good luck to both of you to score a great upgrade, the lounge is very quiet
PS:! The lounge is closed from 6 PM to 8 PM, when the Hors d ouevres begins, so ask for a voucher to eat a delicious dinner with red wine at +One Bar.

Thanks simflyer, I will ask the nice lady at the gues relationdesk in a minute.

Got upgraded from King Club Room (Corporate Rate) to a wonderfull Junior Suite on the 38 floor with very good views.

But this is a full suite, 2 seprate good sized rooms (plus 1 full bathroom and also one WC) with a full mini bar (alcohol in it).

However no RA stuff (letter/water/etc.), maybe that show ups later.

Do RA's have a secret handshake we can use?

Select one of three options at InterContinental Warsaw in Poland: Free limousine shuttle to and from a cultural event of your choice; Ambassador airport chauffeur service (one way) or a personal training session with a fitness trainer in the Riverview Wellness Centre. Present your Ambassador card at check-in.
Offer valid 1 May through 31 July 2007

Yes, noticed this the other day and figure I will book the Limo back to the airport on Sunday afternoon. (Though I should really do the personal trainer thing...)

So does this mean that now 4 FT RA's are in the hotel?

I count thesimflyer, szg, Shareholder and myself!

Maybe we should meet for Breakfast on Saturday morning at 0900 in the lounge or something????

thesimflyer No VIP escort for me either, not even help with luggage was offered.

However the RA kit (bottle of wine, fruit and mineral water) did show up somehwere during the afternoon.

No, I'm not there (here?) until the 25th. Will actually arrive in Warsaw on the 23rd but using points down the street at the HI, 10K per night because the best paid rate is E180 a night! I'll walk over to the IC which is why I'll use the free car back to the airport on Sunday afternoon. Will cab it to the HI Thursday afternoon, or maybe buy some tickets at the news kiosk and take the bus into the city.

Hope you guys had a rendezvous in the Club lounge.

Be carefull with the free transfer, when I asked about it I was told, that that promotion is over. When I pointed to the dates given on the web, a supervisor was called and same answer "promotion is not longer valid".

Could you please do a favour and email RA customer service to determine validity of their claim? Or advise when you asked and I will email both hotel and RA cs. (Of course, in Warsaw the cost of a cab to the airport is only a few Euros, hardly a bit amount.)

That´s crazy !! At check out I had printed out the Ambassador bonus offers and there is a the vality date from 1 May through 31 July 2007. I got the free transfer. Maybe too many FT RAs asked about that offer !!

But when it is still on the Internet, the hotel can´t say, that the promotion is not longer valid.

http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/ic/...-_-GBLEN-_-BER

The staff told me, that they know, about the cultural free transfer. But they never heard about the offer to the free airport transfer (one-way) and the personal trainer.

And when you take the bus 175, which goes from Warsaw Central Station (5 minutes walk from the hotel) direct to the airport, this will costs 2,40 PLN (about 0,70 EUR).
