I'm pretty happy with my offer. It's similar to the current one and I should bring in about 120,000 points. I have a 4-day stay in September which should earn me about 20,000 points alone.

"Apply for the IHG Rewards Select Credit Card" Task
My tasks for this promotion are all achievable (first time that's happened!) except for one:

I see that others have a task to spend a certain amount on their credit card. I've only had the card for a brief time, so is this something that maybe I could call and have them change? |

I know it's not much consolation but I had an almost identical offer in the final third last year and it put me right off to the point I only had a handful of paid stays - and that appears to be what's needed to reset your targets.
Not what IHG want of course but if you have already requalified for next year I'd personally jump ship as it does work. I take your point about jumping ship though - I'm now going out of my way to avoid IHG wherever possible, even in situations where I might normally have stayed with them, so the Accelerate program has had exactly the opposite effect on me to what was intended. |
Mine looks easy enough for a quick 35,000 points (not sure if I'll be paying for four nights in the time frame as Point Breaks worked out very nicely for me in the recent cycle):
