IHG Beach Hotel in Europe
Hey All

I'm looking to take my family away using my points for a few days, I've previously used CP Vilamoura which is perfect in terms of good sized outdoor pool and beach (ish) location but before I book it again I wondered what other options there are in Europe for something similar?

Ideally I'm looking for a location which can be reached via cheap flights from the UK.

Carlton Cannes.

London (Stansted, Luton, Gatwick) to Nice - EasyJet.

Jump on a cheap flight to Faro and stay at the Holiday Inn Algarve - Armacao de Pera. Right on the beach and the pool looks nice too.

There's the Intercontinental St Julian's in Malta, with not too expensive flights on either Ryanair or Air Malta.

There's a couple of holiday inns in Nice, one is a resort and theres a CP in limassol

I'm staying here on Friday to Monday.

I've been upgraded from Double Bed Promenade View i.e. poor view to 2 x Single Bed Seaview.

I'm not convinced this is an upgrade at all, as there is only 1 adult booked into the room (me) so I'd rather sleep in a double bed over having 2 single beds when I can only sleep in 1 of them. Maybe it's just me but the downgrade of bed size is not worth the better view

It has a private beach for hotel guests across the street. You might not like it as much as the Hilton or Westin, but it most certainly has a beach.

Many of the other properties noted here do not have any private beaches.

Moreover, the OP actually said "outdoor pool and beach (ish) location."
The Intercontinental Malta most certainly has an outdoor pool.
