Here's hoping for some semi-decent Western Europe properties.

IHG's most redeeming feature. I've got points to burn, and air ticket purchases awaiting possible destinations. If I'm already going to be in an area (that I've seen on PBs before), I make sure all my reservations after the start date are flexible. Of course, sometimes the paid stays are so close to PB cost, you might as well lock them in, and get extra credits for promos.

PBs pay off for me about half the time, and that's almost perfect Skinnerian stimulus-response behavior conditioning, to keep us rats pushing the levers...

Don't hope too much, PB's has disappointed me consistently for the past 3 years.

Here in the UK anything that does have the hotel location followed by Mx, Jx is considered to be pure luxury.

On saying that I'm looking for a nice Holiday Inn at the side of the M6 for a Friday night in March. So IHG if you're listening - LANCASTER.

Lancaster won't be open until at least April, they are still repairing after the floods.
Although it wouldn't really surprise me to see it on the pointbreaks list!

Well, Bratislava and Brno pop up pretty regularly. Both decent properties, and walkable to city center if you don't mind not quite an hour walk.

How was the booking periods again? Will it be bookable from 1st February onwards or did the booking periods always have few days of ante? Eyeing something for the last weekend 30-31st January...

Properties are bookable from the moment the list is up. This assumes, of course, that the property you want has availability on the days you want.

IIRC there is no overlap, so I doubt you will be able to book last couple of days in January. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
