This is FANTASTIC for Crack The Case (assuming you aren't bothered about Sweet Dilemma credit as I assume they are non-qualifying).

Unfortunately, I have already booked 2 x 9 nights for £25 per night at 2 HIE's near London (one on F&F, one on 2-4-1), to hit the CTC targets for my wife and mother. Checking into the first tomorrow!

I am, however, tempted to see if I can get a couple of nights towards my own CTC target.

Note that there is a limit of 2 rooms per household, but it doesn't say you can only have 1 night per room.

If possible to get one of these rates for the end of December, would they qualify for the sweet dilemma promo?

No, see rules. Officially non qualifying. Will count for CTC though.

Little CtC use for me as my only problem is going to be the 44 difference properties latch, but it's two better than nothing, and I'm sure I can actually make use of at least one...

This CTC is so unbalanced - I need 23 nights, 4 brands, 4 Saturdays, and a survey for 79,200 points total.

I've got to get 56 nights and 15 properties and 8 Saturdays for my crack the case, are we absolutely sure that this 20.12 offer qualifies for CtC? If so I could knock some of them off.

For crying out loud ...

For the umpteenth time ....

EVERY CASH RATE YOU CAN POSSIBLY THINK OF COUNTS FOR CTC. Some people have this in writing from PC and no-one has ever reported a non-qualifying rate (except where there were posting issues).

Thanks Raffles for clarifying that so nicely for me. I have not started working towards CtC until recently so have not followed that thread very closely.
Happy Christmas

Funny how the 26 saturdays and 106 nights seems less intimidating when you look at just exactly how challenging 44 different properties actually is, given a usual stay pattern that'd usually involve about 6-10 properties for business and perhaps the same again for leisure.

And the 300,000-odd comes out at pretty lousy value in comparison

The answer is simple. Do what I did, and sign up your parents and partner for PC accounts.

They can do all the questionnaires etc to get a few points, and when you get a targetted promo like CTC, they will get very easy targets as they have no stay record.

You then do all your stays on their account (with you as Additional Guest) for a while. No status benefits obviously but the points make up for it.

Mrs Roger made a couple of reservations, an HI and an Express by HI, to help her CTC.

Our first choices for our dates were not available. The HI (Regents Park) cost £24.14 - so much for £20.12 - as they added 20% VAT. The HIE was £20.12 all in.

The HI Kensington Forum had a suite in the offer, not at £20.12 but at £220.14. We didn't bother.
