I just saw this 80K offer in my email today.
I rated the Priority Club Visa as one of the best value credit cards in my independent analysis of hotel credit card benefits. A card-to-card comparison based on value of points also ranks Priority Club Visa high to the hotel competition.
The one free night annually is a great feature.

I guess it pays to hold out, I only got 30K.
When DL Amex was having a spat war with US Bank Flexperks, despite the warnings that this is the "final offer for a limited time only" the offers only got better.

Based on the 60K offer, when it is targeted with name and address showing on the application form. There is not even space for such info on the application form, i.e. it is not even prefilled. The info is simply there.

I applied and was instantly approved.
I'm amazed (and pleased) with how generous PC is with their promos and points. I have one stay which cost me less than $500. Since that stay was for a conference at a PC hotel, I would have stayed there no matter what. After getting this card, I will have about 120,000 points. ^ ^ ^

Platinum status with this offer?
Do points earned from this offer count towards elite status? Since 60,000 points in a year give one Platinum, would getting this card and making a purchase boost membership level to Platinum once the points post?
If so, applying now, and making first purchase in Jan 2011 would lock in Platinum through 2012, right?
Thanks!

Also, you could "redeem" the PC points for a stay far in the future and then cancel later, redepositing the points, just to make sure your points are safe if you want to cancel the card sooner.
