Anywhere Challenge: Did you get your points?

The Clue Thread is continually getting bogged down with people asking "Did you get your points?". Many have suggested that we have a separate "Points" thread, so here it is.

I will update this thread as the points are posted. I will also record how many winners there were each week, so we can keep that out of the Clue thread as well.

Week 1: Arikok National Park, Aruba, points posted on Sept 28
Day 1: 2000 pts - 0 people
Day 2: 1500 pts - 493 people
Day 3: 1000 pts - 4,099 people
Day 4: 500 pts - 1,155 people

Week 2: Chitwan National Park, Nepal, points posted on Sept 28
Day 1: 2000 pts - 2,945 people
Day 2: 1500 pts - 1,277 people
Day 3: 1000 pts - 735 people
Day 4: 500 pts - 692 people

Week 3: Kenai River, Alaska, points posted on Oct 12
Day 1: 2000 pts - 580 people
Day 2: 1500 pts - 1,240 people
Day 3: 1000 pts - 1,415 people
Day 4: 500 pts - 531 people

Week 4: Sabah, Malaysia, points posted on Oct 12
Day 1: 2000 pts - 13 people
Day 2: 1500 pts - 4,221 people
Day 3: 1000 pts - 1,462 people
Day 4: 500 pts - 647 people

Week 5: Irazu Volcano, Costa Rica points posted on Oct 29*

Day 1: 2000 pts - 1,964 people
Day 2: 1500 pts - 5,654 people
Day 3: 1000 pts - 2,535 people
Day 4: 500 pts - 1,751 people

Week 6: Kauai, Hawaii points posted on Oct 29*

Day 1: 2000 pts - 133 people
Day 2: 1500 pts - 3,494 people
Day 3: 1000 pts - 3,074 people
Day 4: 500 pts - 986 people

Week 7: Lake Titicaca, Peru points posted on Nov 3
Day 1: 2000 pts - 5.966 people
Day 2: 1500 pts - 1,486 people
Day 3: 1000 pts - 819 people
Day 4: 500 pts - 595 people

Week 8: Paphos, Cyprus points posted on Nov 3
Day 1: 2000 pts
Day 2: 1500 pts
Day 3: 1000 pts
Day 4: 500 pts

* Note there is some confusion as to exactly which weeks posted on Oct 29, as points posted do not seem to match up with pts expected.

Patience - I would advise patience - its really a cornerstone of being in the PC program. As a general rule they take their time posting points - they are the slowest to post points from hotel stays and they are typically very 'batch oriented' when it comes to these promos.

Just wait and revel in your point total...

Smile Thanks Margarita Girl!!

I do not know how many will find this thread but I figured it will help with the clutter in the other if we send them here to ask their redundant questions

Thanks for taking the initiative

Actually it is a good idea - that other thread is becoming quite the monster.

For what its worth I've only seen the first 2 weeks post to my account as well.

First two weeks had about 5600 winners. Big drop down to about 3800 the third week. Anyone taking bets on week four?

Talking I hope just get something for weeks 3 and 4

It was week 3 before I discovered FT website. I usually avoid forums because of my work, but I am on travel right now and this challenge helps occupy some of my time. I thought I had Aruba cold (how they came up with the National Park is still baffling). I totally missed week 2 so I am looking forward to seeing if I do win any points for week 3 or 4.

According to The Anywhere Challenge FAQ's:

"If you correctly guessed one of the mystery locations, the points for the Daily Prizes will be deposited within 2-4 weeks after the deadline for that weekly entry period." That would mean it could be as late as October 22 before Week 3 points are posted (and October 29 for Week 4).

Has any one had points allocated for week 3 & 4 yet? The wait seems infinite?

Thank you for doing this, the other thread had just too many information

BTW, I had 2000 for the 1st week and 500 pts for the 2nd one (I'm sure I should have gotten 1500 in the second one but oh well....)

Got my points. 1500, presumedly for week 4. ETA: I submitted "Irazu Volcano, Cartago, Costa Rica".

It would be nice if PCR listed the week in the activity description. Though I prefer their IT people spend time and effort on fixing whatever is technically wrong today with the challenge.
