I have a trip to Germany in September and was thinking about pricelining rooms in FRA and something else in DUS. But now I have 6 nights at ICs for 30k PC points. And it´s even before the quadruple bonus season, so I won´t be losing that big earning possibility. Thank you PC. ^

well , i'm down to 649 PC points left
booked 4 football weekends in the bay area
a couple weekends in nola
and a few other places
trying to get my coworkers to loan me some points so i can make a few reservations in certain cities where bowl games will be played in December/January
I think so far this year I have 50 nights at PC hotels, but only 12 that I (actually the company) paid for, 37 reward nites at 5k/night and 1 reward nite at 25k per night

So Shareholder are you of the opinion that this will carry on 'near-as' permanently then? Or will their marketing dept. just think of a new promotion for next year instead, like when they used to offer one new IC hotel, in the whole planet, at 15k? I'd personally rather have fun going through a list of 'mad unless you have to go' hotels like Monterrey, Beirut & Lebanon for 5k - then one solitary prime, new hotel for 15k.
I'd also feel a lot better about the £900 I threw away this week, if knew it wasn't a one-off.

Just cancelled my reward night on IC Rio and booked it now with the point break award. That´s really a good offer.

Can someone confirm that you can cancel a Point Break reward reservation online without losing 5000 points ??
If not, when will the points be deducted from my account ?

CANCELLATION can be done ONLINE, but cannot MODIFY my current pointbreaks reservation ONLINE, a quick call to Ambassador Desk confirmed that cancellation will fortify the points, but date change should be OK. The modification should be done by calling PCR or Ambassador desk.
Make sure that you still have the original reservation number for the new date.

I've cleaned out my account and am now waiting on purchased points to come through so I can book IC Rio. Hopefully they come through in time!

I'm not so sure this is the case this time. Possibly the agents were wrong because they are used to the normal PB rules. This time there was no mention of a non-refundable booking for PBs. I think they treated this promo as just a regular awards booking..............................^
