What is "normal" points in a year ?
A few years ago, I got a hand written letter from some big wig in ICH group thanking me for my particiaption, and for being in the top 2% of points earners.
Although my useage hasn't altered, I wondered how may points we all accrue in an "average" year.
My year to date is 152,000 points in ICH hotels, over 47 nights.
Anyone else care to share their usage details, just for interest value ?

Course, I'm sure there's someone who'll beat me, but I haven't been a leader much on anything on FT! But I've been staying 3/4 nights a week since April non-stop.

. I got 80,000+ from 7 nights, and 2 of those were at an IC where base points are not exactly free flowing!

Please read this thread so you can better understand how your points system is being exploited.
Some travelers have very few nights with outragous points amounts, so you can use this thread as a guide on how to tighten up all awards.
