Indeed, it was originally brought to our attention by docklander at post #162 on Page 11 of the (sticky) Promo thread.
Is it as good as it sounds - yes! Many of us have registered for it and there has been some robust discussion about which hotel stays are eligibile towards the 3 nights (consensus seems to be - as it states in the T&C's for the promo - that stays at IC's are the only eligible nights).
I'm sure some members may have already stayed the 3 nights since they registered for the promo (both after 15 February), however nobody has posted their experience as to when they qualified, then when they were advised they achieved AMB.
I'm sure there will be a lag between the two, given the layers of administration between Rewards and Ambassador (perhaps a weekly sweep of registered members versus their subsequent IC night stays??). We're waiting for that confirmation.

Obviously that promo wouldn't extend your current Ambassador status for another year. It's only for new members.

stayed at the IC Sydney abt 2 weeks ago and
the Gold Amb status was updated abt 12 days
after check-out ^ ^
now, would like to see how long it would take
for them to post the package.
all in all, a very nice stay in a splendid IC, brilliant
location in Sydney.
Will be in Sydney again next month, and may
split my stay between the IC & HI Old Sydney
as its located near The Rocks. However, am not
sure what the new status will get me? Any experiences?
