I think it comes as a bit of a jolt to some to be reminded there are members outside the US

Probably just got tired of the people in the UK complaining about it.

The Earth is flat and if you try leaving the US you will fall off the edge.

Dang, I just got the email today. I checked out yesterday. It's showing as pending stay to be posted tomorrow. Anyone have any success getting them to award retroactively?

And this has now changed to being available to all members. Very timely, as I have my first stay tomorrow.

I am trying to understand what is the point amount I am going to receive beginning from the 4th stay, if I am a Spire, and I pay with the IHG Premier card.
Please correct my math -
10 usual points
10 IHG Premier Card
10 Spire bonus
40 promo
----------- total 70 points /$

Am I missing something? And while we are at it, will reward stays count towards the number of stays - e.g. if I stay 3 times on points, will I jump to the maximum x40 bonus points on a paid stay?

No, points stays never work for these kinds of promotions at IHG. Points stays only work for promotions that require points stays (ie, specific Accelerate tasks, etc). Only stays on "qualified" rates progress you through this promotion.

Here's the T&Cs if you care to read the fine print and find where that's explained (in a general T&Cs sublink):

"4x" means 10 usual pp$ + 30 bonus which = 40. Then add your 10 Spire + 10 IHG Premier Card = 60.

You need to register up to and including 8th September. One of my booked stays ends with checkout on 9th September. Will the final night count? If you can still register on 8th September, it would seem odd that you couldn't actually make use of the offer, even for that one single night.

If, however, the night of 8th/9th September doesn't count, would I get the double points for the earlier nights, even though I don't check out until 9th? Or do they calculate on the basis of the entire stay?

Thanks for sharing your view if you have one!
