I got 4 nights in West Yellowstone with three nights at 25,000 and one at 27,500. This is normally 45,000. I also had two nights in Cody, WY for 22,500 and 17,500, normally 30,000 I believe. I'm on my way to Casper, WY HI for 12,500 a night but I don't know what normal is there. Certainly it is reduced though.

Are you sure? I didn't find it on the list of ineligible hotels for a free-night certificate redemption.

Just canceled an award to rebook at lower price.
points have not come back after cancelling. Stay was for tonight but was still within cancelation policy. Any advice on how to get points back today?

You need to phone IHG rewards club. They can usually fix this quite quickly.

Great if the normal rate was much higher.
I understand the 10% back from the middle IHG card, I get that too, but what's the other 10% off?

Ambassador renewal option. Normal rate is 40,000.

For mine in Clearwater normal was 35k but now 20k some nights 25k others. Be sure your 4th night is highest rate redemption.

Are the 10% ambassador discount and 10% chase IHG discount on points definitely stackable? I have only ever received one of them...and I thought I had read you can only get the 10% once but curious if I am wrong.

If I am supposed to get the 10% twice, then I need to contact them as I have multiple award stays in the past 2 years that only received the 10% once.

Most likely both just entitle you to the same 10% rebate. Otherwise 2 4th-free cards would each get a free night after 3. At least on the Select card there's only a 100,000 pt limit per calendar year. IDK Ambassador.

Any way to know when / if CA, VA, MD and some of the other straggler states will see the new variable pricing? Or Canada, UK, France, Spain, Australia and new Zealand?

Yes they are, but many have reported that one or both are sporadically credited. In my case, the Ambassador points are often omitted, but a quick email to IHG requesting proper credit got it all posted properly.

Because the certificate will not work if the regular rate is 45,000 points. I saw it earlier in the week for 45,000 and then it was reduced to 25,000 and 27,500.
