Holiday Inn - multiple reservations for stay

I am using multiple certificates for free nights for a few consecutive days at a Holiday Inn. I had to make each reservation separately (all under my account and name). I selected the same type of room for each certificate. Do I need to notify the hotel of this or will they be aware of it and consider it one reservation so I don't have to change rooms each night?

Normally the hotels will figure that out automatically. When you check in and they don't tell you the correct number of nights just mention that you have additional nights.

I suggest you write to the hotel and ask them to combine the bookings.
