Wiki was copied from 2018 thread
Created WIKI Mar2017 purely to add the "new" IHG PB List URL as I can't find by screen navigation since IHG changed the reservation screens etc, and the old url if saved no longer works either.

Just got fed up trying to find , much easier to store in wiki, hope this helps others

Pointbeaks changed the amount of points needed: This is discussed in this thread: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/intercontinental-hotels-ihg-rewards-club-intercontinental-ambassador/1890423-point-breaks-now-5k-10-15k.html

This thread is about the discussion about the locations and the actual list, please use the thread above for discussions about the increased number of points needed for pointbreak redemptions.

SCUBACCR

Use this URL for "Live" PB Listing:
https://www.ihg.com/rewardsclub/content/us/en/redeem-rewards/pointbreaks.html

The PREVIEW list usually appears on IHG's blog first

This is correct, I just looked at the months but overlooked the year, my mistake... I thought some of those sounded familiar like hotel indigo Austin.

So, if IHG is no longer updating that site like they used to I'm guessing we can conclude not to expect any preview and will just have to wait until they go live noon EST

Bit of a lack of frantic excitement here. I'd have thought this thread would have been buzzing with speculation by now.

We've all been let down way too many times in the past by IHG over the years.
Many people won't be fooled again or don't care anymore.

Definitely a lack of excitement. Can probably retire the whole pointsbreak concept soon.

I'll still check it out later though, just to be sure

I care. Don't listen to them IHG, I'll always love your 5k Chinese mainland PB list.

Not really

But I'll check anyway. It's been like dumpster diving lately, yes, but no harm in looking.

I haven't even organized my travel movements in my mind for the next couple of months. Pointbreaks used to demand a considerable amount of organisation and pre planning. Luckily I am just about free when the list appears around 18h Swiss time.

Just booked IC MSP at 15k, regular is 35k. HIX downtown MInney was also available at 15k for my dates but only for a brief few seconds, also normally 35k. I’m happy given my preexisting travel plans.

Not sure if it is an opening offer, or if it is going to be on the PB list, but the Crowne Plaza London - Albert Embankment is on for 15k. That is a bargain, especially for the summer months.

My first time checking this out and there are literally only about 20 hotels showing outside of the US. Am I missing something? Or am I just 15 mins late to the party?
