Wiki was copied from 2018 thread
Created WIKI Mar2017 purely to add the "new" IHG PB List URL as I can't find by screen navigation since IHG changed the reservation screens etc, and the old url if saved no longer works either.

Just got fed up trying to find , much easier to store in wiki, hope this helps others

Pointbeaks changed the amount of points needed: This is discussed in this thread: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/intercontinental-hotels-ihg-rewards-club-intercontinental-ambassador/1890423-point-breaks-now-5k-10-15k.html

This thread is about the discussion about the locations and the actual list, please use the thread above for discussions about the increased number of points needed for pointbreak redemptions.

SCUBACCR

Use this URL for "Live" PB Listing:
https://www.ihg.com/rewardsclub/content/us/en/redeem-rewards/pointbreaks.html

The PREVIEW list usually appears on IHG's blog first

you have to call IHG for that, but I have had it happen quite a few times. They are changeable

Not changeable according to the rules, of course agents can and sometimes do make “one time exception” changes, especially if it’s an IHG cause in terms of why the change is needed.

The thing is, it will come out at the end of May and I have a trip mid June. So I will book refundable rates at the places in England I am going to, and see if I get lucky with a PointBreak this time. But in rural England, most IHG hotels only cost 15,000-20,000 points for one night anyway.

Yes, was also noted on LoyaltyLobby and said Tuesday due to fact that Monday is memorial day holiday in States.
IMHO if there's going to be a preview list it'd probably be Thursday or Friday at the latest due to holiday weekend, but recently it's seems the preview list is only a few "main properties" they want to advertise...

This list is going to see us through the summer, so you need to get your thinking cap on about travel plans and see if anything matches when I comes out. The Europe list was very thin last time and I fear it will be thin again in the summer holiday period.

Actually, in both countries! May 27 is Spring Bank Holiday in the UK! While Canada always has its holiday a week earlier, called Victoria Day. Which is the Monday on or immediately before May 24 = Queen Victoria's birthday.

Yes, yet its operational office is in Atlanta and its rewards club (responsible for PB) is in Salt Lake City...
