I have also booked there (but only for June), hence subscribing.

By the way, did anyone notice that in some of the renderings, it looks like the rooms are actually accessed from the corridor through the bathroom?

I have an upcoming trip to Taipei for a week and was thinking if I should choose Kimpton or Regent Taipei for the stay?

You should choose Kimpton so that you can provide us a review of the hotel.

Regent should be a better hotel. But Kimpton is in a more convenient location, unless you want/need to be in Linsen area.

Happen to see the review in Tripadvisor on this hotel, review is positive. I am still toying between this hotel, Regent or SPG hotels. Looks like I may go with Kimpton (given its convenient location) and that Regent rooms are selling out fast (and hence a late checkout at 2pm is probably not going to be successful for me).

I am booked to stay here in a next couple of weeks. Can't wait to try this hotel out, I've always stayed close to Taipei Main Station due to convenience but it looks like this hotel is quite close to the MRT.

Stayed here for two nights last week.
Was given a room on 10th floor with a great view towards Taipei 101.
Ethan from front team was great at showing me all features of room and it had a great comfy bed and great rainfall shower.
Really enjoyed my stay and the close connections to the nearby MRT (exit 3 is closest).
The upstairs bar is great and bar makes a great cocktail. Didn't get a chance to use the gym or eat in restaurant this time.

Do they have a Club lounge? If yes, is it possibly given to elites complimentary?

No lounge I am aware of. I received a Raid the Bar voucher valid for 12th floor bar or Honor bar.
