same here. I booked this hotel on 3rd-5th of March and they sent me an email to contact them (I'm IHG platinum).Not really a great start, I was organizing the trip to see Sofia again just for the hotel opening.
DId they offer you any kind of "sorry compensation"? I still have to call them

I think Sofia will be a lot more fun in the summer, and the hotel staff should be able to give decent service by then. I would not go earlier.
