New 2017+ list of ICs that award RA benefits on award stays

After the "enhancements" brought into the Royal Ambassador program, I felt it would be of value to split off from the older thread (plus, similar requests were expressed) and see if the treatment has changed in any way. The funny thing is that because we're so focussed on RA renewal that we're not even burning our points! So the datapoints are a bit rare.

A few recent experiences:

Bali: upgrade, minibar, and club
Tokyo (ANA): follows the rules (no upgrade/minibar)
Willard (DC): great upgrade, but no minibar or club

Note that both of these were the "stated" policies, and obviously things tend to vary if you're a frequent guest, have a good relationship, etc.

Post yours!

Created WIKI for ongoing status, to save us RAs having to trawl (or search) this thread. Great minds think alike, I was already onto it.

1)Only response from a Duty Manager (which there are too many of at Amstel)

2)I had personal email 2.5 weeks after my bad stay(s) without myself having followed up with Anita from a DM (' Thomas Clausen, Duty Manager')

a)offered foc 1night RV Suite due to "agreed" poor performance by IC Amstel on my July2017 Night(s) (Noise etc , staff attitude poor etc)
quoting email
" I truly wish you are willing to give us another chance. We strive for all our guests to look back at their stay at the Amstel Hotel with warm feelings and happiness, but we failed to do so with you.
Therefore I would love to offer you a complimentary night in one of our Executive suite river view the next time you are in the city Amsterdam. Please let me know at any time if you would like make use of my offer or in case there is anything else I can do for you at this point in time. "

b)ALSO same email stated zero upgrades on ALL award nights (even if regular guest)
quoting email
"The fact is that we follow the term and conditions stated from IHG as a guideline for IHG Rewards Nights. "

NOTE
To be honest I am stilll loathe (read as - very unlikely) to return again to IC Amstel and will likely reply asking Amsel to instead give this attempted "makeup" to one of my many Amsterdam friends I have previously guested at IC Amstel.

Looks like she's hid behind her staff from the looks of things, especially if you've contacted her directly. Poor form.
