Is this a dated link which IHG forgot to remove (or the latest)?
It states upgrade to Club Rooms will be granted Club access.
Read your own quote: applies to RA only.

@ PayItForward Surfing net is a waste of time, It appears you pulled up cached google expired links/URLs that are no longer current. You really need to go via IHG.COM website to the current t+c's that were rewritten/posted on 1st Sep 2016. Plus the block you hilite is not the correct block from the oldrpre Sep-2016 t+c's.
(The older pre Apr2014 t+c's didn't even say RAs had to be given Lounge if given a Club room... IC Madrid comes to mind, RA's were upgraded to Club room without Club, in effect Deluxe to Deluxe , not an Exec or suite room, which is I think why RA terms block was updated in Apr2014 )

pre Sep2016
Lounge access at IC brand to Ambassadors pre-2016 was written to state 'Lounge access is not an Ambassador Benefit' ..... Unfortunately too many Amb's used that loose wording to bully hotels saying t+c's do not say hyou can't give me free Lounge access and that xxxx IC did.

post Sep2016
Sep2016 t+c's state 'Ambassadors will not be given Club Experience' ie Much clearer, non-ambiguous closes out any opportunity of Amb's to bully hotels receptionsts at checkin

https://www.ihg.com/hotels/gb/en/global/customer_care/member-tc#ambassador
The Club InterContinental Experience including Club Lounge access
will not be given to Ambassadors as this is not a benefit that is included in Ambassador membership.

I did
(1) go to www.ihg.com
(2) sent to https://www.ihg.com/hotels/us/en/reservation
(3) scrolled to bottom
(4) click <Member Terms and Conditions>
(5) sent to https://www.ihg.com/hotels/us/en/glo...care/member-tc

voila... same page as I posted above.
(6) Select point <Intercontinental Ambassador>
(7) https://www.ihg.com/hotels/us/en/glo...-tc#ambassador

There may be multiple pages (versions) with Terms and Conditions that are not synced but this page appears not to have been updated going by what FT folks has been posting.
Definitely not a cached page that is pulled by googling but clicked through using their reservations page.
It would be helpful if IHG vet their sites and update all pages and not leave some old information out there.

I followed those steps and in point 9 , it states

The Club InterContinental Experience including Club Lounge access will not be given to Ambassadors as this is not a benefit that is included in Ambassador membership.

In point 10 it states

All Royal Ambassador members will be entitled to the Club InterContinental Experience on top of the two tier room upgrade

I initially was asking if the terms I found in page https://www.ihg.com/hotels/us/en/glo...-tc#ambassador are either outdated or the latest

@Eltham mention that the terms I pulled are referring to RA only.
@scubaccr mentions I should not Google as it might pull random cached pages (agreed)

My last post was simply to share that I did go through www.ihg.com and clicking on the terms and conditions, it seems that I am always routed to
https://www.ihg.com/hotels/us/en/global/customer_care/member-tc#ambassador while others @scubaccr, @Dave Noble) are going to https://www.ihg.com/content/gb/en/customer-care/member-tc#ambassador

Hence my comment IHG should clean up their pages and not leave old Terms linked to their home page for certain group of users.
I did clear cache and for kicks, used Chrome-incognito not that it should matter.

I am based in Asia and not sure if that impacts the servers / routing rules.

There's now a footnote in the room descriptions that clearly states that lounge access will not be given where a member has been upgraded into that room.

IC Miami Doral - I had booked adjoining rooms because i had my kids with me and they were so upset at not being able to give me a suite as I couldn't leave my kids, they upgraded both our rooms to club instead of just mine. They were definitely going to upgrade myself and the wife no matter what.
