Created WIKI Mar2017 purely to add the "new" IHG PB List URL as I can't find by screen navigation since IHG changed the reservation screens etc, and the old url if saved no longer works either.

Just got fed up trying to find , much easier to store in wiki, hope this helps others

SCUBACCR

Use this URL for "Live" PB Listing:
https://www.ihg.com/rewardsclub/content/us/en/redeem-rewards/pointbreaks.html

The PREVIEW list usually appears on IHG's blog first

Normally it would be the 'the current best flexible rate' for the first night of the reservation.

I would personally rather forfeit the 20,000 points valued at $ 120.00 than pay $ 180 USD best flexible rate and get nothing in return for the expenditure.

Exactly. The poster actually got off easy. Normally it is the best flexible rate and has happened before in the long history of Point Break. However how the hotel charges is up to the hotel itself - in this case the hotel is most reasonable to charge the 20K pts.

The Best Flexible Rate for the hotel in question was around $US134 so its much of a muchness. The hotel is sold out tonight which would have been the second night of my 3 night stay so hopefully they have profited from my late cancellation! I don't know whether that fact or being Platinum or having had 5 stays (admittedly all PB stays) in the last month was the reason behind the 20000 points being credited back to my IHG account without any input from me. I'll be optimistic and not expect a charge to appear on my credit card in the next few days - hopefully the Night Auditor has more important things to do.

Yes likewise I can say it's same list of hotels from last year, at least in my region, as I remember booking a point break at few of those holiday inn express...

Nothing to post about so far except that bookings go live on Monday (already posted), so far without a preview.

Nope: that's an old list, for bookings through October 31, 2016.

Great catch. I got too excited with October 31 and missed out the 2016 vs 2017
