Update December 2018: it looks like some accounts are proactively being renewed in December 2018, well ahead of the stated expiration of Jan 31, 2019. It is currently unknown what criteria were used, but previous years appeared to indicate around $10K++ in IC spend only.

As before, please Divide EQPs by 10 to get $$$ Spend

Renewed at $11.2k++ / 108.5k EQP / 53 nights / 8 properties for paid IC stays (variance between spend vs. EQP is due to Venetian Las Vegas lower EQP earning).

Less than $1k of this had to be "adjusted" from posting incorrectly, so I guess that wasn't a factor for me.

Starting out 2018 with a 3 night stay that posted incorrectly and will have to be adjusted. Really sucks that IC Sydney couldn't get it right!

flybit, we're looking for US spend at IC's for the data points, that's all that counts these days.
prima facie, it's looking like USD10K IC net spend, that we've long speculated about, is probably correct.

I cannot edit the Wiki, but I'm now RA for the first time, 8 nights at IC, spent at 2 properties - USD 10,200 in total at ICs (honeymoon...)

very intersting data point, some had speculated about 20 minimum IC nights, looking more and more like just USD10K net spend at IC. done

Not renewed with roughly USD 8.5k net at IC.
Must have been around 40 nights, plus 70 at other properties. Total EQP around 160k if I remember correctly.

Key reason why I couldn't make it: Mediocre IC footprint in regions I travel most - at the same time this is why I'm not too sad about the loss

Congrats, But this is ridiculous. It seems that criteria is only depends on ADR. This totally distorted the meaning, spirit of “loyalty program”. (Of course, this is not poster’s fault.)

All of readers of this thread who dropped from RA with over 10K USD spend in IC should to send complaint mail to David Canty and Keith Barr.

But it’s not a loyalty program, it’s a rewards program. The hint is in the name

I haven't seen anyone say they had confirmed net spend above $10k and not been renewed. If that is the target and can be achieved in a single stay that is fine to me and seems a reasonable approach to tempt high spending individuals to deepen their relationship with IC and spend more in IC properties. The target does appear to be $10k it would just be better if this were formalised in the T&C's rather than playing stupid annual guessing games.

I also think it would be good to have the spend needed laid out in the T&C's but I can also see why they don't as it creates a buzz around the program weather we all like it or not, using myself as an example I spent 15k all on leisure stays even though I could have gone anywhere. In the end I choose a couple of destinations to stay because there was an IC and I thought I had a chance of getting RA, had I known the target I may have picked another destination such as Phuket that does not have one yet.

I'm way over $10k, but not been renewed. Adjusted stays have done for me, and I'm now at the mercy of David Canty and Keith Barr. Crazy
