For a non-US member promotion, IHG has an Accelerate promotion running June-August 2016 that specifically excludes US members.
Promotion time-frame for earning points:
~30 calendar days after registration -- 1,000 registration bonus points post to account (spire only)
~4 calendar days after checkout -- dashboard* will reflect activity
~21 calendar days after checkout -- bonus points post to account
Promotion time-frame for sharing points:
~5 calendar days after receiving gift -- 1,000 share points post to account
* To get to the dashboard, due to an IT bug, you have to "register" instead of "log in", even if you've already registered. But you're not re-registering; if you "register" and you were already registered, that simply processes it as a login and takes you to your dashboard info.

I got “Stay 29 nights between May 1, 2016 and September 5, 2016 to earn 70,500 bonus points”. That's not gonna happen.
The Terms and Conditions say it's open to legal residents in North American and South America. So, not US only, but limited to the Americas.

Very similar here:
"Stay 28 nights between May 1, 2016 and September 5, 2016 to earn 70,800 bonus points--plus a free night to share."
28 nights by September 5 seems unlikely for me (I can pretty accurately predict my trips between now and then).

Log in to the IHG website, follow the link to promotions - it's there for me.
I think they learned their lesson on that one - don't hold your breath for a repeat.

Your offer beats mine: 81K points for 38 nights. Consolation prize of one free night after 15 paid nights, in addition to the 1000 points for my first stay after May 1st.

I have a free night booked in May which I'm going to cancel and book with cash. I'm assuming points and cash doesn't count as a qualified stay? How do you designate your 'share' partner?

What could happen:
1,000 for first stay, 7,000 if completed by May 31, and 1,000 to share.
+1,400 for a second night.
+4,500 for five nights.
+20,000 for ten nights. Not likely but plausible.
So 12,900 + 1,000 is the most likely haul for me. Five nights may not even happen if the Point Break list is good to me. Not going to refuse a gift but glad I swept Accelerate.
