There have been reports of mail-in entry emails being sent out on 12/4 and 12/11, and the emails came in rapid succession. This is indicative of HelloWorld batching these out.
Initially batches of emails sent out was on Fridays but as of of 1/6/16 appears to be Wednesdays

STATUS:
--As of 1/19/16 10:00 am et(estimated) all plays were showing up as no wins. . The play site seems to be undergoing maintenance. Best not to use up the majority of your plays until things smooth out.
--As of 2:45 pm ET on 1/19 play site appears to be back up.
--as of 4:17pm ET on 1/19 500 point plays seems to be working again. No 5B prizes seem to be won at this time
--As of 6pm ET on 1/19 emails being received for wins during the morning hours of 1/19 where it stated no win after select elevator.
--As of 2:30pm EST on 1/20 still reports of nearly 100% 500 pt wins only. Best not to play alot of plays unless you only want 500 pt wins
--As of 8:00 pm EST on 1/20 multiple reports of 5B prizes being won again. Seems to be back to normal.
--As of 2:00 pm EST on 1/21 reports of $50, 2k, 5k, 1k pt wins (unsure of free night wins)

I mailed mine Sunday, I'm guessing it would have arrived on Tuesday, 5 business days would be Monday so realistically I'm not expecting anything until next week. Would love to be pleasantly surprised.

I mailed a few less than 94, to give "room" for the extras due to anticipated IHG stays between now and the end of the promotional period. Mine went to the post office also on Sunday, after I made photos and a video of them all laid out on the floor.

I sent my first three today. Handwritten on paper, printed label on envelope. This is going to be interesting to watch, whether each entry gets a 500 mile bonus, and if some get disqualified because of some minor 'error' (i.e. like maybe not including the "registered" symbols in the address.) IHG has a long history of promotions and bonuses that get 'picked up' by the blogosphere with consequences they might not have planned for. On the other hand, they may actually plan for/hope for this kind of response, all the tweeting and blogging. I've been an IHG loyalist for years, because there's this fun aspect to IHG, that you never know what's coming down the pike next. Whenever I think I'm sort of done with IHG and my balance drops below 50,000, something comes along that, with a few stays and some hoop jumping, lands another 50 or 100K in points and I'm back in the IHG camp, with paid stays.
I had my 94 envelopes/notecards done on the 8th. I'm about halfway done through my wife's right now. Most of my envelopes are unstamped/unsealed so that if they decide to change things up, I (relatively easily) change things, although I would not be happy.

I checked in to a HI on 11/15 and checked out on 11/16. I haven't yet gotten the email entry for that stay, but will post here when it does come.

Weird activity in my IHG account
I have had zero activity in my IHG account since August and mailed in a ton of envelopes last Friday anticipating they would arrive this past Monday (the 16th). I havent received any sort of email regarding my entries but I logged into my IHG account today and saw this in the activity:

I don't see any similar entry into my IHG account, and I mailed my cards on Sunday, Nov. 15. If it's a "confirmation of receipt", then some folks are going to have 94 such entries.

Official rules are back attached to the sign-up page and a quick skim makes me think there are no significant differences to previous terms & conditions, just a little clean-up of the language. (Not sure if the 500 point rewards were explicitly Prize Group C before)
