48 Hour sale is back

The 48 hour sale is back soon:

Third times a charm: It's your last chance to get a winter break experience you'll always remember in our third and final 48hr winter sale. The sale starts 00:01AM on 16th January 2015 with rooms from just £29 at over 600 participating IHG hotels across the UK and Europe.

The sale is exclusive to IHG rewards club members, so to benefit from the discounts now's a great time to join.

Hong Kong left the UK a while ago and Korea hasn't joined the EU yet...

So no harm booking without waiting for this promotion.

If I remember well, the last 48 Hour sale was already live a few hours (or even a day?) before the official start? Any feedback on that? Just to make sure I'm all set .

Some hotels are and some are not. With regards to the points the hotel cannot be more than a 30% discount or you can potentially not earn points.

I booked 5 nights / 4 hotels in the £29 - £49 bracket in the last round of the sale and all of these did earn points & qualifying nights.
