Super Bowl 2013 Availability on points - YES
 
For those interested in the Super Bowl in New Orleans.

There is still availability in the French Quarter for rooms on points. As of 1/22 there are 2 Holiday Inns with availability at 35,000 points a night. The cash rate is $1,200 and $1,700 a night if you want to go that route. By contrast, the Marriott Courtyard wants $2,000 a night and no point availability.

Personally I got the IC New Orleans on points many months ago. A great $$ per point redemption.

Good job ICH for the award availability.

The HI's in NOLA were all 25K until last week. You ought to be able to call and get the old rate.
