IC
Take the trip and eat in Bugis next door - great food and you''ll save the taxi fare than if you were to eat eat properly at the airport.
(I don't consider gulping down fast food being bumped by strangers "eating properly" when travelling - it's hassle enough).
Failing that do the CP and go down to the East Coast eateries for food.

As indicated in another post, there is no free breakfast for paid stays (and therefore for stays on points)

CP Changi
I will take CP Changi anytime. Even on a free stay I get a suite room upgrade.
In IC Singapore on a free stay as an RA you get a King Bed Premier with rooms that are really old. I did not even had a gift last time ( usual for an RA) but did not bother about it. I think I am done staying with IC Singapore and there are other better properties around.

Another vote for CP Changi. Been doing a good job in getting suite upgrades and I love the easy accessibility with T3 which helps a lot as I usually fly on UA's early morning departures/late night arrivals. ^
Pretty much. Unless you need to be constantly connected, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle as the hotel is attached to Terminal 3. Either that or I find it more justifiable than paying 29 SGD. Just head over to an info desk and ask for a temporary account to log in with.

The IC is also well positioned for a day in SIN before you head back to the airport.
Given that the CP is often considerably more expensive than the IC, then if you are not a plane-spotter, or a lover of airport fast-food, the choice is pretty clear.

everyone still feel CP Changi > IC SIN for short stay?
Everyone still of the same opinion?
I've just booked a trip where I'll be in Singapore for about ~30 hours (5:30PM arrival, midnight following day departure).
The CP and IC are almost exactly the same price, and for the price the CP is offering internet and 4PM checkout. So, club access is about the only difference between the two (well, and minibar) that I can figure.
Have been to SIN before, and I've stayed at both properties. Can't for the life of me decide which one to stay at on this trip. I am not sure whether we'll be up for any sightseeing, though we might.
Has anyone gotten club access without paying for it at the CP?

For a short transfer I would choose the CP. But, you are going to be in the city for 30 hours? I would most certainly choose the IC. Plenty of things to do within walking distance. Stayed at the CP recently. Received a suite on a paid stay, but no lounge access.
