Direct Boat Transfers to/from Airport One-way: 7334 XPF (updated Dec 2019) (about 15 minutes). Resort will email you to arrange this ahead of time if desired.

Boat transfer from the Airport is not mandatory despite what any hotel emails might imply to the contrary. It's possible to take the free Air Tahiti shuttle to Vaitape (15 minutes), followed by a taxi to the IC Le Moana for 2000XPF (15 minutes), then the IC's shuttle between Le Moana and Thalasso for 3390 XPF per person one way (updated Dec 2019) (15 minutes). If all transfers go smoothly, the journey could be as short as an hour, or longer than two hours if you're unlucky.

* Boat times with a * can connect with the bus shuttle between IC Le Moana and Vaitape town, as shown below:

Bus Shuttles between IC Le Moana and Vaitape town:

Depart IC Le Moana:
9:45am
2:45pm

Depart Vaitape:

The bus shuttle costs 1150 XPF RT/person.

Note: There is no ATM at the Thalasso. The closest ATMs are in Vaitape, the main town where the airport ferry stops. However, both IC Le Moana and Thalasso will give you a "cash advance" on your credit card for a fee of 5%. The transaction will post as a purchase.

XPF is also available at the airport in Pappeete from several ATMs.

They should increase this to at least 30 days, or I suspect there is a wasted room for those holding onto awards into the last minute.
Cancellation deadline for a points booking is 6pm local hotel time 7 days prior to check-in date, according to my confirmation email.

Did anyone use Chase IHG free anniversary night at this property, long after its stated "valid dates"?
The system allowed reservation with dates after "stated" validity dates, but the fine print kind of contradicts that.
There are numerous DP-s with other properties, where people successfully done that, without any issues.
Trying to find out any DP for this property.
Any info would be kindly appreciated.

No problem. I have applied two Chase anniversary free nights in this property long after their stated expiration date. The only issue you may run into is: after the stated expiration date, you won't be able to make any changes to your award booking. If you can't go, the free night certificate would be wasted.

Contact the hotel, they might push your stay back on compassionate grounds.

This may be new? I had written in on a separate question earlier this week and received a response that indicated a 2486 xpf cost p/p for the shuttle between the resorts, with no indication that it was after a certain time. (Separate from whatever the taxi to/from the airport ferry costs.) Was quoted 13560 xpf for r/t direct ferry service to Thalasso from airport.

Separately, can anyone confirm they're giving the construction-related dining credit to people staying on points? I'm staying in late June, after the worst of it should be over, but before the credit is set to expire.

Anyone has June 3,4 2017 booked and are planning to cancel? Please, please let me know before releasing to inventory. I know a lot of people book the dates and then cancel as the date gets closer and for some reason they can't make it. -Thank you

We were charged for the fee only for the departure day, but not the first 2 days.

Yes we also got the 6000xpf per day credit. However they were not applied automatically at check-out and we had to ask explicitly.
