Fantastic offer.

However, linked to best flex again, apparently you need to book from the website, which brings up rate code IKSCU - rate is best flex...

Quite fair in my view. IC is trying to get people to up-buy with its promos and increase the $ yield per room night. Weigh the cost-benefit and I suspect the basic room flex rate is about the same as the advanced purchase rate for a Club room.

I tried IC Bangkok and IC Hanoi and it keeps giving me the same error:

"There are no rooms available for your requested travel criteria. Please consider modifying your preferences or requested reservation dates."

Maybe the system hasn't been updated yet.

Agree (as usual), however, the provided link does not say you need to book a specific rate. It's the same thing as the other Amb offers, free internet or free breakfast. Indeed a smart move by the revenue dept.

Savings are huge in IC Sanya (if anybody is considering) and Hong Kong at around 100-120 Euro/night.

It is a special rate. If you book the rate, at least the Strings won't provide any additional upgrade beside the club upgrade to Royal Ambassadors. This is not stated in the rate conditions, but this is what the hotel has told me by email. So, this rate is practically worthless there for RAs as the typical upgrade seems to be a club upgrade...

Any RA stayed at IC Strings noticed that minibar content in club room is different when you stay on an upgraded club room and to a normal paid club room?

Yeah, for those who normally pay BFR on their stay, NOT for those who pay corporate rate.

The URL referred at post #1 displays "Priority Club Rewards Hotel Reservations | SQ PPS - Club Lounge Access", but nowhere in the TC says that the offer is EXCLUSIVELY for PPS club members.
