I have 19250 collected for this year, on 0 stays.
-7000 total from the Multipartner points promotion held last fall;
-11,000 total goodwill points 'cause of the screw-up regarding aforementioned promotion;
-1000 with this 'Luckiest Loser' promotion;
-250 for signing up for e-statements.
Plus, last year I got points from a survey, the game piece codes posted here, and partner activity.
All in all, since last summer, I have accumulated over 38,000 points - and I have only one 2-night stay at a Holiday Inn during that timeframe.

A nice 1K points. I had 90K HH in my account but redeemed 2 nights at the Conrad Tokyo last minute so now it is 10K. Not sure how this will be treated. hey maybe even 10K may be enouh - haha. decided the mail option so if they really contact me I will deal with it then.

4500 from Mycokerewards, cleared out my account
2000 from Multipartner Bonus fix in early January
3000 fom Multipartner bonus fix in late Januray
1000 from HHonors Biggest Loser
250 from E-statement bonus
= 10750 points this year
the 3000 in late January was unexpected and generous. I did not ever email PC about the problem, so I got rewarded twice . I have E-rewards currency stored up in case I need to use it to get over the hump to make platinum at the end of the year.
I have a similar situation like Twickenham in that I have collected about 35000 points since June with only a 1 night stay at HIEX. I got 11000 for the stay and 24000 from partner activity.

This is just the most brilliant promotion!
The buzz in the media has been unbelievable.
I'll bet Hyatt is kicking itself for not having thought of this.....

Yep. Devaluations are inevitable in every program. It's just a matter of how severe and how frequently.
It is indeed.
I also like the fact that it would make it very hard for PCR to announce a devaluation in the near future. They already publicly said they don't anticipate any changes, but they'd look ridiculous if they increased award prices in the next year.

Maybe I'm out of my tree, but I just don't see more than 20,000 people qualifying.

Seems like this might not be entirely bad news for Hilton - the loyal PC member gets nothing from the promo, so is better off signing up to HH to get the 1000 points. Then, who knows, with a new bit of plastic, Hilton properties might become a more attractive option, particularly if HH's marketing is any good and a few of their own promos hit the inbox...

This is an awesome promo. I have no HH points at all as I have never stayed there but entered anyway. I was completely honest when completing the form and I still got 1000 PCR points
