Has anyone renewed their Platinum status yet?

As we near the end of January I just wondered if anyone had renewed their Platinum status yet?

Whilst it wouldn't be possible on qualifying nights it would be on points and so I was just curious on the quickest renewal time that has been achieved?

Personally it looks like I will renew by the second week of February based on current spend and future bookings.

Yep, so sometimes you really need the time away from home to relax .

8 nights and 44k points so far this year (and one stay still waiting to post).

Yes. Only have 19 nights so far but also submitted a number of different point vouchers.

What I'm really not happy about is that I'm only averaging about 2k points a night. I haven't had any promo activity this year so far.

I am at 30k after 7 nights, by far the fastest year yet for me. Glad to see I am not alone.

58170 points with a stay yet to be posted; January is bad for promos of course as usual, but 5 stays at ICHs, one HX, a few minor promotions, Visa points -- plus the 20K Ambassador Accelerator tip the scale!

Requalifying for Platinum is a yawn. If you stay at ICH hotels, even without ANY promos you need only 12 stays, and with promos (quarterly and "stay x nights") -- and the accelerator you should be able to requalify in half that, on average.

It's RA or nothing as far as I'm concerned.

When I stay at IC Singapore I only get 2K per stay (plus any bonus points) - why is this?

When I stay anywhere within Australia & NZ I earn 3K+ per night which is much better.
