Is it. I remember seeing on FT somewhere that only certain hotels offer this benefit.

I'm pretty sure it's all IC's for RA, and maybe some for AMB. But this is only on qualifying paid rates. Many IC's won't give it to you on award stays.

Is it? Can anyone confirm? I feel Internet should be a basic part of every room package now days.

For Amb, it's a small list of participating IC's. See http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/interco...internet-offer

I can't find where it says RA's are free everywhere, but I haven't found an IC yet that didn't give me free internet.

Yeah that's what I read that some IC's don't give this benefit as its only a published benefit for Ambassadors at certain IC's.

Here's the thread where we discuss that Internet is free at ALL IC's for RA's.

Yeah I remember that thread. Its still up in the air and nothing is guaranteed. So was hoping for something concrete in this thread as to what is the policy here.

Thanks for your help stimpy ^

FWIW, the Welcome booklet that came with my recently renewed RA card includes the following:
... As a Royal Ambassador, you will be entitled to extra privileges and services...

    * Free internet applies to InterContinental Royal Ambassador members only and is valid on all bookings except Reward Nights. It is valid in all InterContinental Hotels & Resorts worldwide when a Royal Ambassador member stays. Valid for the Royal Ambassador's room only. Complimentary Internet is valid in any area of the InterContinental Hotel & Resorts property where Internet usage would have otherwise been charged. Internet access may be wired or wireless and varies by property. If the hotel offers tiered Internet packages, the lowest package will be offered. Reasonable usage applies. Not valid in any other IHG property.

Indeed I've been upgraded online, a couple weeks before my stay from Grande Deluxe to King Club. This is a normal paid stay. So all that seems fine. But what will I find inside my mini-bar? Hmmmm.

When I booked a Club Room for next week, the reservation was adjusted to Club Suite within 2 hours.

My mini-bar and drawer is always full of alcohol, perhaps that's because I never drink it.

Same here. I book a club room and it's a club suite within 2 hours.

The mini-bar is fully stocked including the big bottles in the drawer and the nuts too.

However the welcome letter says "Complimentary mini-bar beverages", so let's see if they charge me the chocolate later when I check out.

djjaguar64, I can not find Toblorone bar I'm afraid, just 2 x lind chocolate bars and ferrero roche.
