A bit spruced up from the look of it. With rooftop pools, it is quite tricky to make significant changes to the pool itself as the structural elements of the roof can't just be changed so I would have expected the pool to stay pretty much the same as else loads and all may change and that is super tricky and expensive to go about and likely not worth it.

I would be interested to try IC when it reopens but I think the pricing is overly aggressive by a long shot. IC seems to be pricing itself above Kimpton, St.Regis, Waldorf Astoria, and Park Hyatt. If they succeed then kudos to them but all I can say right now is good luck.

Wow, I'm with you if that turns out to be their strategy. No way IC even renovated should be able to command rates above the properties you mention. They are dreaming in a super competitive market like Bangkok. I'd think they'll try at first, probably not going to manage to fill the place and over time moderate the rates into reasonable territory again. YMMV.

For the new Regent HK as well. (Less than Pen and FS but more than MO, RC and StR.) Though I suppose we’ll have to wait for real world experiences to see if it lives up to the rates they’ve loaded.
