You can see your Ambassador expiry date by clicking on the Milestone Rewards Progress link, it is on the right side of the overview screen, can't post link because I don't have too many posts.

Awesome, it looks like there is indeed a way to view Ambassador expiry date. Do you know when was the date you signed up and when was the date that your membership expires? From time_stamp's DP, it looks like it expires 12 months from the end of the month of the Ambassador purchase, but would like to confirm.

AMB-trick = Diamond extension : going mainstream in the "Hobby"
One of the titans has posted on his blog our "infamous" AMB trick to extend Diamond .....

He seems to be late to the IHG party of instant Diamond + extension as others have already mentioned.....
- ofcourse he had held RA in the past with the art of referral certificates but moved away because IHG hotels weren't asperational enough
AKA did not offer creditcards with the highest elite status + commission kickback and made persuasive blog posts to entice clicks
yet his own words:

This is why we cant have nice things.
IHG top tier Diamond status will fearfully become diluted like Hilton's or IHG will close the loophole.
Owners dont like giving away free things. They will go Independent and/or cry to IHG if they feel the influx of Diamonds crush their PNL (or they already have crappy business practices and will blame crappy profitability on increased Diamond memberships)

I saw one post on here where he was given an upgrade at a HI as he was only guest that night not a Diamond!
I fear that upgrades etc will become a lot worse if so many enrolled
