I signed up the challege as a Gold Elite and receieved the Platinum elite. I have also stayed more than five nights after signing up the status match to meet the requirement to extend status until end of 2023? I also plan to stay 10 additional nights to qualify for Diamond Elite.
A question: when will the account reflect the the Platinum status will be extended to end of 2023?

I got a rude and possibly incorrect response from the IHG agent at the chat app saying that the current promotion is based on the number of _stays_ and promptly cut me off. Given I'm running slightly close to the deadline, can anyone confirm if it's the number of days stayed instead?

I got a rude and possibly incorrect response from the IHG agent at the chat app saying that the current promotion is based on the number of _stays_ and promptly cut me off. Given I'm running slightly close to the deadline, can anyone confirm if it's the number of days stayed instead?

And it doesn't help that IHG sends an email saying that I have 7 nights left to clear with the Plat challenge completed email, which is incorrect.
As much as I can count, systems are not anywhere near perfect and the chat's response evidently show I'll be screwed around if something doesn't go the way the system is supposed to work. I don't think I can make it clearer for you.
If you have the signup page as an archived page it'll be helpful to have it on hand.

I share your frustration. I also received an email earlier today reminding me to stay five nights to maintin Platinum status and 10 additonal nights for Diamond status. I have already stayed 7 nights, which should keeps at Platnum level until end of 2023 (app still shows 2022). I have another 9 nights booked to qualify for Diamond, but not sure whether the IHG system is tracking my stays so far correctly?
