Points and Cash at a 20% discount
 

According to Loyalty Lobby, IHG launched a three day promotion, booking a room using the points and cash option at a 20% cash discount. Rules are book by May 10 and complete your stay by July 1. Has anyone attempted this promotion in the USA? The link directs you the UK version of the IHG page. I attempted to book a room and didn't receive the cash discount. Thanks.

I am not seeing this discount at a range of hotels I am looking at. Comments on Loyalty Lobby say the same.

Best guess the promotion is limited to UK members. The USA promotion was 15%. Changing the address to a UK address might work but I would not risk angering IHG...
