hi,

i want to redeem the free ambassador voucher, so pay one night at ihg and get other night free.
​​​​​​i have an accelerate target of spending a weekend stay off two nights including saturday.
​​​​​​ Wondered whether using this would stop me reaching my target.

You are entirely at the mercy of chance. i.e. how the clerk will post this stay. Once I had a BOGO night posted for both qualifying two nights and a weekend stay (IC Berlin) and got a full points value for a full two night amount quoted and another year it posted as one night qualifying and the points equivalent to what I paid for the stay (IC Park Lane, London)
