ack with another stay. Destination fee is still waived for award bookings. Upgraded to Manhattan suite at check in. Breakfast amenity choice offered. This is now my go to hotel in NYC.

The location, the FD & Bar staff, and the Diamond treatment make this a top choice in NYC 100%. I love it here each time.

No hassle Diamond Upgrades.

No Late Checkout issues for Diamond

Breakfast Amenity Generously Offered.

Do Platinums get the breakfast amenity choice? I have been offered it in Europe as a Platinum.

I wouldn't expect it. Just like you wouldn't expect breakfast for Hyatt Explorist or Marriott Gold.

No. Per published terms, breakfast is a DIAMOND benefit for IHG. Any hotel offering to other groups (outside of maybe a rate package) is simply being nice or isnt aware.

Is destination fee waived on award booking for everyone or just Diamond?

I agree based upon my stay there in May.

Booked this for a Saturday in November for 25k points vs. 511 USD ++. Not bad.

Just booked the same 25k/night rate for a December weekend. Hard to beat when rooms are currently going for $500/night!

Suites?

Looking at a booking next August, I'm seeing a "King Broadway Suite" and a "King Herald Square Suite", same price as a standard King room. Anyone know anything about these? Are they identical, just with different names? High floor vs lower floor? Any information at all greatly appreciated.

Any recent updates? Traveling with my Platinum partner using Chase free night award. I am Diamond.
Should we pay the amenity fee?
Should I expect to receive any Diamond benefits here as the reservation is not in my name?
Any great restaurant recommendations in the area or Hudson Yards?

I wasn't charged a destination on free night award as a platinum

No diamond benefits since it's booked under you. The rooms are great. I like the location and design.

When I called today, the front desk told me that now they do charge the amenity on award stays. I did not book, so I can't confirm. But he seemed very confident.
