Wiki was copied from 2017 thread
Created WIKI Mar2017 purely to add the "new" IHG PB List URL as I can't find by screen navigation since IHG changed the reservation screens etc, and the old url if saved no longer works either.

Just got fed up trying to find , much easier to store in wiki, hope this helps others

Pointbeaks changed the amount of points needed: This is discussed in this thread: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/intercontinental-hotels-ihg-rewards-club-intercontinental-ambassador/1890423-point-breaks-now-5k-10-15k.html

This thread is about the discussion about the locations and the actual list, please use the thread above for discussions about the increased number of points needed for pointbreak redemptions.

SCUBACCR

Use this URL for "Live" PB Listing:
https://www.ihg.com/rewardsclub/content/us/en/redeem-rewards/pointbreaks.html

The PREVIEW list usually appears on IHG's blog first

And not a single one in Australia. Another few hours of sleep I will never get back.

Was really thinking that at least the first list at the new higher rates would have something useful...but should have know given that it's IHG we are talking about...

List is up. One total property for FL and AZ. Pretty poor, big pass.

You know it's bad when you add the 5k/10k/15k lists together and it's still worse than some of the more recent 5k only ones.

I expected that because we were going to have 10k/15k that would mean that we'd have many more hotels that we'd otherwise never get.

Shouldn't have got my hopes up.

On the plus side, this is IHG listening to customers feedback by increasing the point requirements.

I'd hate to see what happens when they don't listen

Venice and Naples are in there. Nothing in Milan, I think. Lucerne in Switzerland is there, although that's not exactly in or near the city.

Increasing the points requirements is one thing if they increased the standard of the list.

From what I've seen they left barely anything at 5k, moved most of the kind of properties we've got on the last couple of dreadful lists to 10k, then added a few extras at 15k.

Now if they had brought us the same kind of awful lists as before at 5k and the 15k properties at 10k I'd have been more supportive.
