Extending Diamond status by purchasing Ambassador?

I've renewed in, like, November, October (slightly early to take advantage of a different promotion) and then April this year (free six month extension from the previous October pushed out renewal date) and the Spire membership expiration date has always synced up with Ambassador expiration date, so I'm now showing as Spire through May 1, 2022.

Can somebody point me in the direction of how to renew ambassador, I remember doing it previously but it’s been a while!
I’ve been clicking around their website for about half an hour to no avail.
Seem to remember you could do it with points?

On the APP, there should be a button to renew. It does not seem to appear until about 9-days before your expiration date.

Has anybody signed up for or renewed their Ambassador mid-year and still received the Spire extension? I’m currently Spire and thinking about signing up now (due to the Ambassador promotion) for the automatic extension. But if the extension only works by signing up in December I’ll hold off to the end of the year.

The digital card date might not be accurate though. Mine shows Spire at the bottom left but with the expiry of my Ambassador rather than my Spire.

It may only appear if you’re close to your expiry date. Fingers crossed it’ll show for you.

Says expires 1 September 2021
So maybe it will appear closer to that time?

Got my Spire Elite extended to 1/7/22 according to the app, when I renewed Ambassador last month. The Spire Elite was extended to 31/12/22. Got 25,000 points in March for Spire renewal but I seem to recall this was running late for most people.
If you are Ambassador as well as Spire Elite the two expiry dates are in different places. In the iOS app the Ambassador expiry is at the bottom of your account page which shows your Available Points at the top. You'll find the Spire Elite expiry by tapping '2021 Track to Elite Status' just underneath where your points are shown. It then shows on the next page.
