What I like about the lounge is althout it is small usually it is a quite and relaxing place. Regarding the AMB credit if not applied be sure to ask at checkout (usually I am asked whether I want a preview of the folio before issuing the final one). As for the fruit plate and San Benedetto still and sparkling water bottles I've never been charged before 😀 |

Just ending a 4 night stay.
Booked lounge access room and given 1 bed suite. It’s been a great stay. The staff, and the concierge in particular, are outstanding. the hotel is bright, modern, very comfortable and superbly located. When the works outside are completed, it will look as good outside as it is inside. the lounge is small comfortable and the staff very helpful, but mind the step as you go through the door!!! I have walked for miles and miles but also used the buses and underground. The taxi from the airport was fine and costs 20bgn, but I did get a slip at the taxi desk in arrivals. Another taxi was far more expensive for a shorter journey and while I could have argued and protested, it still was not expensive, I just hate being had over. The city does need to do something about its taxi services. I am taking the underground back to the airport, even with a suitcase, as it just seems sensible given it proximity to the hotel and at just 1.6bgn is a bargain. the hotel is outstanding and well worth the price charged |
FYI restaurant is moved to Ador - just opposite to Floret (Both Dinner and Breakfast). It is immediately on the left after you enter the lobby. Menu is definitely upgraded.

Late to post, as my 2 night stay was several months ago. First ever stay at any IHG property and first time in Sofia. Booked the lowest flexible rate with breakfast, and at check-in upgraded to 1 bedroom suite, which the front desk agent charmingly referred to as "the apartment". (Plat Amb) Very good hospitality throughout the property. Evening bar service and breakfast at Ador was solid - including a self-serve Mimosa area during morning hours. Was surprised that room-service did not operate 24 hours, given it is the Inter-Con and many business travellers. Jet-lagged and hungry, raided the mini bar and believe I went above the $20 credit, but was not charged. Definitely would return when in Sofia next.

Still a lovely hotel, staff great. the works outside now completed and the hoardings removed. The metro to and from the airport remains outstanding value. |
