For a non-US member promotion, IHG has an Accelerate promotion running June-August 2016 that specifically excludes US members.
Promotion time-frame for earning points:
~30 calendar days after registration -- 1,000 registration bonus points post to account (spire only)
~4 calendar days after checkout -- dashboard* will reflect activity
~21 calendar days after checkout -- bonus points post to account
Promotion time-frame for sharing points:
~5 calendar days after receiving gift -- 1,000 share points post to account
* To get to the dashboard, due to an IT bug, you have to "register" instead of "log in", even if you've already registered. But you're not re-registering; if you "register" and you were already registered, that simply processes it as a login and takes you to your dashboard info.

7,000 points by May 31st. Sadly, no travel I can steer from other brands to IHG and that's not lucrative enough to mattress run around here. I don't think I'll be participating much in this one. Maybe the 3 nights by September 5 for 2,100 but I don't think so. I'm more focused on maintaining Hilton Diamond right now.

So, just as a datapoint... I (Platinum) got the email about it, but my wife (Club) did not. We're in the USA. I registered for this and then went to register my wife right after to see what her offer was -- and, for her, it kept saying "invalid promo" and wouldn't let her register. About an hour later, I tried it again and it went through just fine. She still never got an email about it though (just the one that you get AFTER you register).

I hit all my goals on the Q4 2015 program and made Spire last year. However, I get Plat through the CC and Spire isn't worth the extra effort so I've been concentrating on Hilton this year trying to maintain the Diamond they matched.

IHG marketing - a well meaning monastery full of shmonks.
I do like that it is progressive.
No applying for the 19th time for a credit card, no stays in unavailable Vegas rooms, no downloading the app to airport computers. Just spending nights.

This is what I don't like about IHG's greedy bonus machine - the more you stay, the more they want you to stay. There is no end to the greed

Got offer for 7000 points for 1st night by 5/31
+1400 for 2 nights by 9/5
I have 2 questions--
First, I just made a booking 2 days ago for 5/28. The booking was made BEFORE this promo was available, but the stay will be DURING the promo period. Will I get those 7000 points? It is a refundable rate... should I just cancel and re-book?
Second question-- the above booking is the AMB BOGO weekend booking, 2 nights total. Will this count as 1 or 2 nights for the promo?

So this is nice. Fortunately, I recorded my requirements upthread because I just went into my promos on IHG. There's no list there anywhere of what my bonus requirements were. If I hadn't copied it down when I registered, I would have no record of what I needed to do for points.
Can anyone else find it?
