For a non-US member promotion, IHG has an Accelerate promotion running June-August 2016 that specifically excludes US members.

Promotion time-frame for earning points:
~30 calendar days after registration -- 1,000 registration bonus points post to account (spire only)
~4 calendar days after checkout -- dashboard* will reflect activity
~21 calendar days after checkout -- bonus points post to account

Promotion time-frame for sharing points:
~5 calendar days after receiving gift -- 1,000 share points post to account

* To get to the dashboard, due to an IT bug, you have to "register" instead of "log in", even if you've already registered. But you're not re-registering; if you "register" and you were already registered, that simply processes it as a login and takes you to your dashboard info.

Its the same as last year, the US only got a summer May to Aug Promo....not to mention the MasterCard? Promo....only for the US

Yeah.... not happening. I have 50 for the current promotion that is a struggle; so another 18 is not going to happen.

I got stay 24 nights I think but my offer was 65,400, I may only do the first one, where I get 7000 points plus 1k bonus if its june1 or after and then 100 to share, other than that, forget it

When you've earned your free night, they'll ask you to provide your recipient's email address.

... my Diamond Match with HiltonHonours. I already stayed at their properties and was truly happy with their service. With IHG I fulfill the 75.000 points required for the Spire Status in April and most of the Accerelate 2016 (and will not stay one more night with it this year ... because I am fed up with their unequal treatment of members). It is not like there is a lot of business in the Middle East. IHG just offered my company an unbelievable deal in Dubai for summer 2016 (I can't and won't reveal here due the confidentiality clause, of course). All hotels in Dubai have business problems because there are too many hotels coming into the market, the US-Dollar is too strong, the Rubel too weak and the world economy slowing down. The new W, St. Regis and Westin alone provide an extra 1.650 rooms and that's only a fraction of what's going on. With the EXPO 2020 still more than four years away ... the situation will remain like this until autumn 2018 ....
