Help please: How to find out IHG reservation no. from six-digit alpha-numeric code

Just booked HIX Berlin City Center through HotelClub as lower price + cashback + HotelClub member $ more than made up for not earning points / nights.

HotelClub sent a confirmation stating "Hotel Confirmation Number: ABCDEF" (i.e. a six-digit alpha-numeric code).

Would anybody have any idea how to find out IHG's 8-digit reservation number from this?

Thank you in advance.

You can either contact the HotelClub and ask for the IHG reservation number or contact IHG and ask for the reservation number.

I'd say your best bet is to contact IHG and give them your name and say you don't have the reservation number. I wouldn't even mention the booking through HotelClub or the HotelClub 6 digit number won't do much for IHG other than help with billing and that whoever you talk to won't likely know how to search for it.

I'd email the hotel. I'd also ask them to add your IHG Rewards # to the reservation.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Just to clarify: I have a HotelClub booking ref. and a separate six-digit code as the "Hotel Confirmation No.".

Think I'll try e-mailing the hotel first.
