visa1000 won't recognize user/pw
Stayed at a Holiday Inn last weekend, and at check-in, got one of the promotion slips with a code. Gave it to the other guest, and they tried to use it, yet on the url, it keeps saying "Please check your Member Number and PIN and re-enter.". Their number and pin work just fine in another tab on the same browser. The only thing I can think of is that the account is relatively new (a few weeks?), and only has a few hundred points in the account.
Does an account have to have a certain age or activity to let you participate in this promotion? |
Not sure if this applies to your case, but you can receive hundreds of those slips of paper, but you can only earn the 1K once.
As to your number not being active, have the PC help line enter the promotion for you and see what they get if you are eligible. |

The web page doesn't complain about the cert number, it complains about the number/pin (which is valid in another tab in the same window). It's something about this account, just wondering if this is a common problem, or not. |
Visa 1000 Bonus Points Promotion
Dear sbagdon,
After reviewing the terms and conditions of this promotion, the invitation slip has a code that can only be used once. Once this code is attached to a specific Priority Club account number, it cannot issue another 1000 points even if entered on a new browser and accepted. Any active account is eligible to participate in open promotions no matter how old or new the account is. Thank you, Myrna M Case Manager IHGCare |
