A few questions for RA's.....
Is the RA bonus posted as a flat 1K bonus per stay, or is it posted as a 50% bonus of base points earned?
I have looked through the T&C's and see no mention of the RA bonus, is it an undisclosed benefit?
TIA

+1 to everyone else who applauds the change but is disappointed that it applies only to the Americas "for the time being."

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to confirm that Priority Club will be rolling out a new points-earning structure for InterContinental Hotels & Resorts starting February 15th.
Stay tuned we’ll be sending out more information about the changes in the coming weeks, but one thing to note is that you will start to experience the new earning structure over the next 30 days as we’re building out the program. These updates will be applicable to InterContinental Hotels & Resorts property in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean for the time being.

A Welcome Change for me
I am glad that PCR is making the change because of a recent experience I had.
I've stayed twice at the IC Milwaukee and gotten 2,000 points for each stay (one night), very nice. In December I stayed 6 nights for work at the IC San Francisco. I was expecting to get 12,000 points (plus platinum bonus) and was dismayed to only get 2,000 points. I thought there was some error and checked the T&C but sure enough at IC's only 2k per stay.
What it comes down to is there is zero incentive for anyone using PC to stay more than one night at an IC:
$1,200 + 6 nights = 2,000 points
$95 + 1 night = 2,000 points
Had I known, I could have stayed at a HIE for more points and free breakfast (and free parking):
HIE + $1,200 + 6 nights = 12,000 pts (+6k bonus) = 18,000 pts
IC + $1200 + 6 nights = 2,000 pts (+1k bonus) = 3,000 pts
Kudos to PCR for making the change. I'll be a little lighter in points for my one night stays, but at least I'll feel like I didn't get ripped off for my multiple night stays. Now if only they could make it retro active so I could get those points for my December stay

Huh??? What does your Visa card have to do with any of this???
If you mean a PC Visa, it earns what it earns (on hotel stays) independent of what point-earning rate you earn on the hotel side. It earns its normal rate at the card end once per statement, while your hotel points are earned on each hotel folio close.
Your Visa card has always gotten per-dollar points on stays, even at ICs, even as ICs were only earning a flat 2000 points per stay on the hotel folio side.
Just as your Visa card has always gotten per-dollar points on stays, even when you collect miles (instead of points) on stays.

Starting Feb 15th? But I already got 7,631 pts (not standard 4,000 pts) from a two night stay on 10 January at one of the ICs in the States. Am I the lucky guy?
