yes, you'll get double points for both

The first night at a S/B or C/W Suites is doubled to 10 points/$ which is the exact amount of points per $ one earns at the other properties, i.e., there is no difference to the points per $ earning on your first night at any of the IHG properties = 10 point/$.

Yeah I know the first stay at CW would be doubled...I just was not clear if that counted as a "first" stay so that my next stay at a CP would be 2x, or if I had to do a "first" stay at an IC/CP/HI BEFORE I got 2x at CP...i.e. CW, then CP then CP AGAIN, or if CW then CP would get me 2x on the first CP stay.

The Candlewood stay would be your first qualifying stay (at Double points because it is CW or SB) and the Crowne Plaza would be your second qualifying stay (also at Double points) for this promo.

In other words.....Tim O'Brien was correct...you will get Double points for both stays under this Promotion.

23 Jan 2012
to
30 Apr 2012 4 xxxx pts.

You need 0 Dollars for the next award.

You have earned the maximum award.

Anyone else getting these kinds of messages?
As reported by others the problem with my account was apparently fixed and all looked good. However, looks can be deceiving. My next stay just posted but no Double Points. The Activity Detail does not show the stay. Of course being a true FlyerTalk PS I had also signed up for the Anniversary Bonus and Elite Member Next Stay bonus offers both of which posted. So now I have to decide whether or not to report a points discrepancy.

Anyone else not having stays post to this promo?

ah
should have guessed others were having the same issue!!

Thank you for taking the time to contact the InterContinental Ambassador Service Center.

We apologize for the technical difficulties you have encountered towards this promotion but rest assured that we already added the correct points on your account. We have added 1,500 points to your account

but another stay at Holiday Inn has just posted without the double points again. so bounced it straight back to the ambassador help desk to correct.

Also my promotions is still showing the double points promotion as:

"You need 1 Dollar for the next award"

Looks like keeping the email ready to send back to the ambassador desk after each stay posts incorrectly without the double points.

Yes my second stay posted correctly. But the third and fourth have not
Third stay has been manually corrected as goodwill adjustment.

Double points only posted once (for the 2nd stay) for me. The rest of the stays haven't - it looks like there is an IT problem somewhere.

Still can't register

I clicked through the link in the e-mail I received from UA. It led me to a registration page which auto-populated my name, PC # and promo code 2832. I click the Register Now button and get an invalid offer code error.

I then tried the link from the PC rep posted up-tread with promo code 6673 and got the same error. Any one have any ideas? This offer was going to impact my hotel choice decision for our family's spring break.

Has anybody heard any recent updates on this problem? My 3rd stay posted without the bonus a couple weeks ago. I emailed them a week ago & received an auto reply that I would hear back within 3 business days, which I haven't. My 4th stay just posted & no bonus either.

I submitted a points discrepancy report and received the usual automated reply. I waited a week and sent another email asking how long it would take. Two days later I received a reply which stated in part:

....we shall be updating you on the matter as soon as we are done with the adjustments.
Fair enough. They are going to add the points to my account and then we'll be done. Well..... not exactly. The next day I received this little gem:

We received an update from our contacts and were advised that we’ve discovered a few technical errors in the Double Points, Double Miles promotion that prevented members who had qualifying stays between 23 January 2012 and 30 January 2012 from earning double points. With this, this account is one of those affected. As such, may we request that you contact our service center for further assistance on this issue.
I completely do not understand this email. I used their form to report a points problem and they tell me I'm talking to the wrong people even though the return email address is :

+Priority Club Service Center [[email protected]]

And the dates make no sense either. My second stay was January 25 - 27 which is inside their 'technical errors' time span and the points posted fine. My third stay was January 31 to February 2 which is outside their 'technical errors' time span and it's my problem child.

I would take a couple of aspirin for the headache but the real pain is much lower and I don't think they would help that pain at all.

So what's the best course of action here? Contact or file a missing points report? Sounds like some who did that had it corrected but then future stays didn't post the double points either. What's going on?

In my opinion, there is no good course of action. They screwed up. I am also skeptical about the few crumbs I got added to my account. But if you call, believe me, it's not worth it. I'm not liking Priority Club too much, lately.

Since I don't have the time to spend on hold I filed a second missing points report on Saturday rather than call. Tuesday I received the automated reply and this morning the missing points showed up. I have another stay which should post in a day or two and am wondering if it will go according to plan. The number of points involved really isn't worth fighting for.
