Most important points to consider for a valid BRG:
1. The comparison website MUST bill in the same currency as the hotel .
2. The cancellation terms must be equal or better, than the terms by the hotels.
3. The Website needs to provide INSTANT confirmation.
4. The room names should match, but if you can demonstrate, that the room is comparable, it will also work with discrepancies in the name.
5. The price difference has to be more than either USD 1 or 1% (whichever is higher).
5.b In regards to hotels located in australia and New Zealand the price difference must be greater than 3% .
Hotels for which you will get reimbursed:
(Note: There have been significant problems with getting full reimbursements from IHG, especially for reimbursements in other currencies than USD)
IC Istanbul ( BRG claim from the 17.05.2013/ "Technical Difficulties")
IC Frankfurt ( BRG claim from the 20.08.2013/ "Technical Difficulties")

Try checking http://m.ihg.com. They seem to pull from slightly different databases.

Holiday Inn Summit County-Frisco, Colorado, on Friday 11th April for 1 night is $162, or 108 at today's rates. All the US based sites seem to be matching this price. Not everyone is though - easyclicktravel.co.uk offer it for 71.75, which is about $120. Unfortunately, easyclicktravel are a UK firm, so bill in GBP, and therefore isn't going to be eligibile for a BRG claim.
I'd be interested to know if anyone can find that lower rate on a USD billing site...

I have been trying to call 0871 942 9115 to check on a claim I have submitted but this number just gives me the web address and then cuts off - any other numbers I can call?

The same happened to me with zuji.com.sg Booked a room and the cancellation date is different by a day. The thing is that ZUJI's cancelable rate is still lower than IHG's nonrefundable rate. I just refuse to book non-refundable so they can find some other way to deny by BRG.

Ok guys, I think I have a valid BRG claim. But I was hoping someone could play devil's advocate, and try to see if you could validate/invalidate the claim before I submit it.
The stay will be at the IC Clement Monterey from April 19th-21st. It is for a King Bed Traditional Room. On IHG.com the price is $259 per night, and on hotels.com the rate is $250 per night. They are both advance purchase rates, that require full deposit upon booking, and cannot be canceled.
I can't seem to find any reason why they wouldn't accept this, but I thought I'd post here to get a second opinion.
Thanks!

BRG email Claims
Hi All,
It seams now that some BRG email claims go to an office in the USA ans some go to the Phillipines. when I receive my submitted email back, the time on the email is around USA time and not the Phillipines time sometimes.
